There was frost on my car windows today. Yes, it is only October 1.

Still thinking of NM...

As the weather cools down, it reminds me that it was almost a year ago that we were in NM. I have had numerous vacations which I enjoyed, but that one was the best ever. It was the combination of a road trip, new places, diverse geology, friendly people, great food, wonderful creative energy, and abounding scientific knowledge. I miss it so much.

Dreams...

I wish I could escape to New Mexico and explore my inner artist. There has to be something more to my life.

ABQ State of Mind

With the weather being as nice as it is today, it makes me think of Albuquerque and how nice it would be to live there.

I just learned of the passing of Ron Silver. I think I liked him because he reminded me of my hometown. Then, there was the movie "Eat and Run" which I liked, partially because it was offbeat. Though, I was surprised that Ron Silver starred in it. Recently, I enjoyed listening to him on his show on Sirius satellite radio. He had esophageal cancer.

Oddly enough, for no reason, a few days ago, I was watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians" since the name sounded familiar, but I did not know why. Then, I Googled and found that their father was Robert Kardashian (OJ Simpson lawyer) who died of esophageal cancer in 2003.

Wow, now I've heard of 2 celebs with this type of cancer.
